You are welcome to email it to us or bring it into the shop; or just supply the information to us in an email sent to Please make note of our standard turn times on our order form. We realize that sometimes rush situations come up that cannot be helped, and we are more than happy to help you make your deadline. However, on any given day we have anywhere from 25-50 active jobs in our production system and a rush job means that another job must be bumped out of order. Therefore, we must adhere to our rush fee system for jobs needed before our standard turn time.


Every customer will be supplied with a quote before we begin your job. These quotes are valid for a period of 30 days, after which time pricing is subject to change.

File Preparation

PSS accepts customer-designed files and can also provide layout and/or design services for your project. If you are supplying your own art, please read this File Preparation FAQ to ensure that you are preparing your file correctly. PSS makes every attempt to notify customers when a file provided is not adequate for printing; however, we are not responsible for the quality of images, formatting issues, typographical errors or content of customer-supplied files. If you do not supply us with a print-ready file for your project, we can help get your layout solidified with an on-staff graphic designer. If your file is not print ready, layout and/or design fees will apply. Print ready means that your file adheres to the guidelines set forth in the File Preparation FAQ and requires no adjustment or work on our part.

Layout fees will be incurred if we have to:

  • search online for a logo, image, or content for your project
  • adjust an improperly set-up file
  • make adjustments, change type or images on an existing file
  • do basic layout (such as entering text on a for sale sign)

Design fees will be incurred if we have to:

  • design a project from scratch containing text and multiple elements or images
  • provide logo design
  • alter or adjust photographs or images at client’s request
  • make complex alterations to type or design elements

Layout fees are generally $15.00 or less per project. Design fees are $40.00 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments.

Approval of Files

All clients will receive a proof of their project via email for review. We will not begin your project until we receive written approval of your proof. Our stated turn time begins when you approve your proof (not before). Please check your file(s) carefully before approving; once we receive approval we may start your job immediately. Any changes made after printing has begun will incur the expense of the printing already done. Please take time to review your proof in full before sending changes. PSS allows for two rounds of revisions on a project. Any additional rounds of revisions will incur extra layout fees for time spent on the job.


We will notify you via phone or email when your project is ready for pickup. Jobs ordered on a rush basis incur the standard rush fee for that project type, no matter when the job is picked up.
